I didn't do anything to my bike per se, and I didn't do it today sadly. I'm updating from the last thing that happened to my bike (aka last year).
I got a new helmet and visor courtesy of my manfriend/significant other (we're not married, and sad to say we're not boy and girl anymore, sigh getting older) as my anniversary present.
And I love it so much

Little late on this one. Yesterday I installed PCV and WOW what a difference.
Today did the air box mood. Just waiting for the temp outside to get up just a little higher. To see if a difference or not, I'm sure there will be.
Also put on my stompgrips and tank pad.

I come home from deployment in a couple of days. My wife sent me the pic of the bike. I miss riding so much. Have lots of plans from the months I spent on here looking around and learning from everyone

I have the exact same bike as you. You will have some fun with it for sure. This is what mine looks like now. I've had almost a month and it looks like a different bike now, well sorta lol. Heres to you coming home safe :iconbeer:

Started my new paint job on my bike today. Not much on the blue color. Painting it sunrise red. Its an awesome color. Will post pics as I go along.

Shogun frame sliders, dmp fender eliminator, motodynamic integrated tail light, and about 50 miles of riding!
Put her on the trailer and took her down to the shop. 
Came home the other day and noticed a puddle under the left fork leg. Blown fork seals. Don't think it was on the last ride because I didn't notice it feeling odd at all. Unless it happened just as I was getting home. :don'tknow: Front end was a pogo stick pretty much when I checked it after I noticed the puddle. Mike will get her all fixed up this week.

Wow, that sucks! How the heck did you blow your fork seals? I think it's pretty safe to say they are not dry-rotted.
Finally the weather and my schedule worked together. I got to to on a four hour ride today, up the '97 to Great Falls above Wateree Lake. A local short run day ride on some minor twisties.
Thing is on the way back, after about three hours, my butt hurt and I was sore all over! Has it been that long since I was able to make hours-long runs? When I think about it, yeah it has been that long. I've lost my iron-butt and I've got to do all that riding again to get it back.
Not such a bad thing, when I think about it...

Got most of my painting done today. 3 coats on each piece, letting them dry. Then wet sanding with 2000 grit spraying another 2 coats. 2000 grit wet sanding then spraying the clear. Gas tank hopefully will be started tomorrow. The picture does not do the color justice . Very nice red that really pops.

50,000 miles in 6 years and only changing oil once in that time.
Just picked her up from Full Throttle. Feels SOOOOO much better. I think that fork oil really needed to be changed out quite a while ago. Kind of one of those things that you don't notice over that much time.
Now I need to change the chain and sprockets, give her a good bath, and let her sit for another weekend while I'm out turkey hunting this weekend

And lots of that in canyon grit. Yeah, I can see that. Still sucks, though.
Before I recognized the necessity to tear down my CB, I changed out the front fork seals (that was such a great bike to learn things on). I would have unable to do it except my dad has a block and tackle hanging from the rafters of his "shop." Once the front end was off the ground, it really wasn't that big of a deal.
It's getting the front end up that's the problem.
