What did you do to your bike today?

Finaly ordered my 3M white carbon fiber to cover my pink tank. Then I will be ready to post up some pictures.

where did you order that? Just curious.

Installed GB racing engine covers and Fastbike axle sliders.

Lubed chain today and put two small deception decals on the tail/rear fairings.

Got the 1 X 5 sheet coming. Went to my first bike night @ Surdyke Motor Sports. 2nd Wed night every month till Sept.

Apparently my forks are twisted so I need to see what I can do to re-straighten them
The other smaller stuff was no rear fender, no reflectors anywhere and loose chain apparently.

Was wondering why my baby felt so squigly. Bought a new tire pressure gauge after reading another post. Checked the readings of both the old and the new gauges against a third.

You guessed it. The gauge I've been using was off. It read high by 3 to 4 psi. So I inflated my tires according to the new gauge. What a difference! The bike went from squirly to awesome, just like that. Took her out for about 80 miles before I went to work, and she handled awesomely.

What an amazing difference a few psi can make.

Install 250r mirrors via ZX6R mounts. Nice day out but couldn't go for a ride since everyone is at work and its just me and the kiddos.

******Warning******
This install is not a direct bolt on! It needs a little grinding to make the 250r mirrors fit the ZX mounts. In my case I used an angle grinder to remove some material.

matches the bike perfectly with the angles on the mirrors! wasn't really that bad of an install. just steady hands on the grinder, only other thing I did was repaint the mirror stems.

Well yesterday went on a nice little 530 mile ride, so today I washed off my bug collection and did the usual chain maintenance.

Took off the front wheel reflectors and took out most all of the throttle free-play. Much better.

took the bike to a 1/4 mile drag strip (Maryland International Raceway)

12.86 @ 103.7mph!

Lots of cool guys there on drag bikes. Mostly liter bikes and busas/ZX14's with extra long swingarms. but whatever, it was fun!!!
