What did you do to your bike today?

Mounted and balanced the new rear tire and painted the rim. Cleaned the rear sprocket and chain and the swing arm.

Was planning on getting the bigger light kit for it. Some Rizoma goodies like grips and protection also.

Was also looking VERY Likely that wife would have let me get a 2nd bike of a Concours or a nice 2 up Cruiser like I think it is the voyaguer...

But one of our darn cagers screwed that up I think... We just dumped $1000 into new ball joints and idler arm, $600 into new tires that had worn very uneven because of above issue, and we need new Wheel Bearings for about $500 next weekend! I was getting excited after my wife hinted we might be able to get another bike, but then when things look good, something always comes and runs me over, then gets out and hits me with a bat, then gets in and goes back over me again! UGH!!! Was gonna spend my bonus from work on goodies, not no more! :rant::banghead:

Finally removed my reflectors off my forks.

Changed the positions (forward and down) of my handlebars, and adjusted the levers and front brake reservoir accordingly..., for a while. Reminds me a little of my pre-FZ6R Kawi ZZR.

Didn't do anything but ride up to the parade and park it, just thought I would take some pics and share, I have plans on doing more things to it in the near future, anyways Happy Mardi Gras!

Nothing, because I'm still waiting on my Banshee horn and I only want to remove my tank once for the electrical work for my 12 volt outlet and the Banshee.

What did I do for my bike today? I bought it!! WooHoo!! 2009 FZ6R with 1,433 original miles on it. It's spent most of it's life in climate controlled storage. It's one of the fast yellow ones, too! I feel pretty good about it. Then I immediately put a couple hundred miles on it. It's a beautiful thing.
