Tried to get the 4 Allen screws off of my bike, under the seat, to remove my rear fender and gave up. Nothing I tried could get them loose. I guess I am just going to have to go at it again when I have more time to figure it out. If they have lock-tight on them, then it is working really really good. :banghead:

I changed the chain on sunday after 15,000 miles... It was kinked, stretched, you name it. It would loosened just after about 200 miles, even after re-tightening. The new chain feels sweet

Screwed up and accidently left my key in the ON position in the garage.. I wore the poor girl out and she was totally dead. Yesterday morning plugged her into the Battery Tender to try and recover her but this morning (24 hrs later) I could only get a very very faint glow on the dash. No numbers or anything appeared.
Having this be an unplanned battery replacement I got a new battery from my local dealer (another stock battery) for $95. I didnt want to wait into next week to get a new battery by online order, especially with the riding season in MN entering its final 3-4 weeks of good weather before the next final 3-4 weeks are likely pretty chilly come mid October.
So my Father in Law picked it up for me today while I was at work and I will hook it up to the tender for whatever time needed (I have been told only an hour???), then pop it into the bike so I can ride again tomorrow.

Third day of riding this bike! Wow, I don't remember mine being quite so tight when I put my FE on. Has been a little while though.

Mine weren't that bad
if your using a Allen key, you can use the closed end of a wrench for leverage on the allen.Ckerd

Not so much what I did to the myth bike but what some one else did. 
Guy in a work van backed up at a light. Gotta get the forks checked to see if there still straight. Fender is trashed though.

The screws are so tight that I couldn't get the grab bars off either. I will try again this weekend when Im not so pissed.

Use something be sides those little allens in the "L" shape. Use t-handles or sockets to get more leverage.
I ordered heat reflective foil for my airbox and gas tank. Didn't buy the gold though too expensive imo

Loooove my metric hex sockets... The are sold at the auto parts chains too. You only need three... Speaking of which I think I'll write up a recommended tool list for our bike.
