  • Awesome! thanks for all of your help. I suppose I should've done a bit more research and looked at your threads made before asking. Nonetheless, thank you. And nice job finding brackets from home depot to work for this. I'll check out your threads now and see what I can do.
Thought I might provide you with a link to the custom fighter forum where I also posted some close up picks of how I mounted some things. 2011 FZ6R Streetfighter - Custom Fighters - Custom Streetfighter Motorcycle Forum
Hey, thanks for writing. The brackets for the front fork mounts are from Home Depot and they are electrical clamps. I have posted a few threads on my mods and included pictures and/or product information for those things that I purchased. I don't have those things handy now, so I recommend going through each one of my posted threads with pictures on how to mount things. The instrument cluster is mounted using two brackets from Home Depot that are part of a drawer assembly for furniture, I have a close up of how the cluster is mounted as well on another post. The existing bracket that mounts to the side of the headlight I used two existing holes in that bracket to screw the front turn signals too. Taking apart the front turn signals is not that fun, you will either have to grind off the little metal piece that you see when you take it apart, or cut the wires, remove the metal piece, and then re-splice the wires. I hope this helps?
hey hows it going. i have a quick question about a couple of your mods if you don't mind. first...did you do anything to mod the gauges (speedo and tacho)? I noticed when I took my fairings off to change my headlight, the bracket the gauges sit on is too far from the triple tree and looked funny. your gauge looks like it sits closer in.

also, where did you find the brackets to mount the front turn signals to the forks?

thanks for your time. I hope to do this to my bike once I can afford some new headlights.
