For any of you who are hesitant like me based on the reviews, at the very least craftsman+sears has an unlimited lifetime warranty on all hand tools. No need for receipts or Proof of purchase. I would just get it replaced again and again if it breaks!

For anybody who doesn't have a proper torque wrench for maintenance this is a pretty good deal.

So just be careful if you purchase it seems to have good and bad reviews. Probably got one from a bad batch.

This may be a good deal but a torque wrench does not fall under the lifetime warranty.

Yeah I think that would be best. There are very few torque specs that are past 75 and that's major components I doubt you would touch.

I just had my buddy pick up the 1/2 drive 20-150 ft lbs wrench for me. I'm set in that department now

i have a 3/8 and 1/2 for home craftsman brand. at work i use snap on, the craftsman held up pretty well but in 3 years both broke a few times and i ended up retiring them to home duty for the snap ons. if your not using them everyday or your just a backyard tinkerer they are great. good price, good quality. cant argue with craftsman! beats the hell out of mastercraft garbage:surrender:

Im not going to go into details due to professionalism but NEVER order anything from sears online. EVER.

also, as mentioned above you really need to check the warranty on sears tools because some of them dont have life time when you think they do.

(worked at sears for 4 years, speaking from experience)

guys, if you're looking for a deal on something slickdeals is a great site to find it!... saved me tons of $. not much moto related stuff. I set top alerts there for motorcycle key words and occasionally something will pop up.

Some stuff on our bikes are like 8 ft/lb (the stuff you REALLY need to have an accurate torque like oil pan and such). So its really good to have an in/lb and ft/lb.

I think the 10-75 would be best for now, but try to get something that goes up to I think 150 later on. I don't remember right now so maybe someone else could chime in.

I guess I got lucky, because my older version of that HD / Husky wrench goes from 10-100 ft-lbs, just high enough for my truck's lugs. Having said that, no torque wrench is going to be very accurate a the lowest end of it's range.
