lookin good! I got mine, but haven't had a chance to install them. I will post pics when I do finally get them installed. Have to install battery tender, Driven Blocks offs, PCV, shorty levers and very shortly a marthy viper. Ordering in the next day or two.
 
Heck yeah! The levers literally take less than 10 minutes to install, super easy.
 
Its cold here in pa. No heated garage for my bike. Gonna use my neighbors garage for installs.

Just bought a set.. thanks for the link.

I had the 2levers on my 250, the color faded in >6 mos, otherwise they worked fine. However, I would never order another set unless I had the ability to clear coat them myself, and honestly I don't want that extra work. I rather pay a bit more for something made right.
 
Not too happy with the levers I got from amazon. I hot shorty red levers and put them on today. The brake lever was a bitch to get on, fit tight as hell. The actuator rod or whatever it's called on the new lever is too fat and doesn't release the brake properly. Needs to be filed down a little. Didn't feel like doing that tonight. Clutch lever was easy to get on but seems loose fitting. Not sure if I'm gonna use them. Anyone else having these problems?

I had no issues did you try adjusting the clutch and brake levers?

Did you retain the sizer that sits inside the old clutch lever? It's a thicker round disk that fits inside the pit on the stock clutch lever. If you don't transfer that over, it will wiggle all over the place.
 
Yes, the brake has to be filed. This was an issue with a lot of Chinese made levers. When I adjusted most of the free play out of clutch lever it was a lil better but I still didn't like that it was loose. The stock lever is a lil loose too.

It just has a little wiggle room. The stock insert doesn't fit as tightly in the new one as the old one (even though it's not real tight in the old one). When I put the old one back on to see how much wiggle room there was it did wiggle a little as well. Didn't have enough time to mess with it tonight. Wife was waiting on me to go to dinner. I'm sure after comparing the brake levers that it is easily fixable by grinding a little off the actuator lever on the new lever. Not a big concern right now. I love the way the new levers look on there, but not at a loss of functionality. Gonna be putting the Marthy Viper on tomorrow after work as well as PCV, Driven Block offs, and Battery tender lead. Will try the lever again later this weekend or next week. The other mods are more important right now.
 
Was reading an old thread and it may be the other screws on the clutch lever that are loose. Never thought to check them so I will try that tomorrow. Apparently they aren't fully tightened from the factory. Anyone else confirm this? I'm not talking about the one that holds the clutch on either.

LOL. Think it's supposed to be short shifting. All the Chinese shifters are nearly identical in quality and looks.
