Hey guys. Does anybody have the techspec tank grips? I want grips badly as the new icon riding pants i have seem to be less grippy then reg jeans. I want the techspec as a friend has them on his r1 and hyabusa. He loves them but i want to see what they look like and where they are placed. Thanks in advance
Thanks guys, Yea i found all those under the search. Kevin thank to. Do those really help you? I think my knees are lower then those pads. I think my knees grip the tank where the plastic is on the bottom.

Honestly, the only reason I used them were to cover the ugly Pink graphics on the tank. Can't really say if they help grip because my legs don't hang on to the tank much. But if your tank is hot they may help with the heat transfer.
Just FYI, look at the top right of a post and click the permalink and if you copy paste that it takes whoever hits the link straight to the post you are referring to.
Keiti makes "dots" that are the same material as tank pads and can match your Keiti pad. Not sure where you get them, but they look pretty cool as you can use them however you want - many or just a few, close together or far apart.
I have a Keiti tank pad, so I'm going to check with the dealer I bought from.
i have them on my FZ6R and did my own cut-outs. look at my virtual garage and you'll see how i installed them. i just measured cut-outs and ordered sheets to do my R6 next.
my placement is not on the tank, but below the tank. some question how effective they are there. i'd say prolly not as effective as if on the tank itself. but, for me, i still do notice that they work. (i have the scuff marks on the inner knee/ thigh area of my leathers to prove it.) for me it was more about combining functionality & appearance, because i don't like the way it looks on the tank.
I have the Stomp Grip brand ones on my bike. They don't look as good as the techspec imo but they do have separate lower strips that go in the plastic below the tank that serve to always provide you with some grip.
I have a friend who has those and he did not like them. To each their own for sure. I myself do not like how those look either. But thanks. I got a pic from techspec and they are not what i want.
techspec has 3 diff types of patterns u can pick from. most of us like the snakeskin the best, because it's got the most grip. if u want a low-profile install, just do what i did and install them on the black plastic part under the tank. u can't even tell they're on unless u walk up close to the bike.
