Why are you wanting to lower her? You didnt seem to have any problems with it as far as I could tell... ?
 
I can't flat foot her at all, even when I scoot all the way forward on the seat. I have really short legs.. let's just say, I have to move the seat forward 1 notch in my mom's car, and she is around 5' 6" and I'm 5' 10"..

I would just feel more comfortable, and I think I could have saved her from laying over the other day if she was a tad shorter.

Have you lowered the front end also you can look at riding boots that have a heal. You can flat foot then

I was thinking about lowering just the front a tad. When I get a chance I will try it.

I already have boots, so I don't really want to get another pair just yet.

cycle gear has them for 19.99. I am sure any Harley shop will have them to as they are pretty common. Autozone may have some cheaper version if you are in a rush.

I wanted to look for an LED strip too, but here is the issues I ran into.

the license plate is touching the bottom of the light (or at least the shroud that goes over it), so it would have to be a strip that goes from bolt to bolt in order to be mounted and the LEDs have to be pointing downward.

I only found a couple that were to that spec and they were $50+. Pass. LOL

WOW, $50+, no thank you....

Mine doesn't sit directly under the taillight. It's about 2" toward the front of the bike...??

I'm probably just going to order some from one of the links that Jay posted up.. I mean, $4, hell yeah!!
