Just as another "old" rider... I am 45 and have riden the R6, FZ1 and a Katana 750 the past few years. This is the most comfortable to me of them all. I typically drive 58 miles one way to work and drive my bike 2 or 3 days a week with no problems. Mine is stock except some cosmetic stuff like wheel stripes, tank bag, gps holder, etc. No the power isn't there compared to either of those other bikes, but to ride on bike rides and back to forth to work, I love mine! Just another "old" rider's opinion
