Very true! Did not even think about it. Even with boxes around it, it WILL move/slide. Need some way to block it up.

I didn't realize how it was being stored in the truck. I agree that being in the middle like that will be problematic. I'd do like martin said and move to the side wall.

It might work, but I see alot of things I would do differently. I would put the Straps out wider and also forward to the floor. Your load always goes forward and pulling it into the chock would be ideal.
I have mine loaded up in the trailer right now, ready to head your direction. I'll go see if I can snap a couple of pics to see what works for me. Mines in a trailer, but principles are the same.

The bike also is going to move around. Strap do stretch a bit. Make sure nothing rub on the bike or paint. Use some towel or blanket.

Well, I do plan to secure the frame to the truck to keep any movement to a minimum.

I know you are trying to conserve space, but I'd rather you have to become creative and tie the straps wide. Even if that means screwing an additional board 2' out on each side. There isn't much lateral support when going almost straight down.
Also, don't pack any pillows or blankets on/around it. Any little vibration from going down the road can wear spots on the paint. One guy at the dealership brought his bike in with a sheet on it. It was sickening when he uncovered it.

couple of dry wall screws into the floor will fix most of it

Im excited for you and the move man. Your planning the move for your bike well 
So you needing some sort of help moving in? it's this weekend right? I'd lend an hour or two of muscle helping you move stuff in if needed instead of going to the gym. Just let me know.

We're on the road. Bike hasn't budged in the truck. Kinda pissed that the truck is governed at 55 mph! Gonna take way longer than anticipated. If we don't stop and sleep somewhere, it'll be about 4 am before we get to Indy. I'll update you guys when I think we might be into town.

Drove straight through and made it to Indy! Now to sleep for a few hours before unloading the truck.

Well heck, I woke up & checked my messages at around 8:30, had no message so I went to the gym. Got back at noon and and He left me a message at 9:00! So I called but he's basically all moved in now. I should have gotten his # earlier lol.
Anyways, It supposed to hit 50 degrees at about 2 so i'm going to go for a quick ride to test out some things I did to the internals. New air filter, plugs, and had flashed the ECU which de-restricts the bike, rev limiter, ect....
