3.8 gallons with a total of 678 miles and the trip ODO said I went 171 miles.
I am heavy, ride aggressive and freeway fly at 75 to 80 in L.A.
45 mpg is good!

You pushing your bike reminds me of a recent event.
I was driving through a remote part of Arizona, and I saw a guy pushing his Harley. I was in my truck, pulling a small 4 X 8 trailer, as I had just finished helping a buddy move. I pulled over and the guy told the bike just stopped and he had no reason why. He also said he had no cell phone signal, which didn't surprise me as there are a lot of dead areas in this part of AZ. I told him the closest gas station was over 8 miles away, and in the AZ heat it seemed unhealthy to push the bike.
I told him, let's put your bike up on the trailer and I'll haul it to your home. (It wasn't too far out of my way) Luckily, I had bought the Harbor Freight trailer that tippped, so after both of us pushing our guts out we were able to get his bike on the trailer. I also had blankets and multiple straps for the guy to use to strap the bike to the trailer and protect all the chrome on the thing, as I had brought along extra of everything for my buddy's move.
We got his bike to his home and unloaded it. He thanked me and tried to give me some money for gas, which I refused. I just told him to "pay it forward" to the next biker.
Honestly, I have had good luck since that deed, must have built up some Karma points or something.
I never really decide to push it but I ride a mildly agressive and get 100-115 miles before I get halfway between 1 and 2 bars on my gauge. And to be honest, if I let off the throttle and cruise I don't see much of a difference.
