PCV ?'s

My friend on here, BuffaloJump used a very rudimentary way to block mine. He got block off plates but what he did on mine worked just as good. I can't remember exactly what he did but if you shoot him a PM I'm sure he'd be glad to tell you. I got the Juice box and it has maps. BuffaloJump got the PCV and his had maps too I'm pretty sure. But I just talked to him today and he said he got his Dyno Tuned and it made a big difference.

Block off plates are optional, but do help reduce popping on deceleration as well as reduce a little bit of weight. I got some off eBay from Powderkeg Racing out of Wisconsin for like $10. They make them in house and have directions. Get the ones for an R6 or R1. They're all the same.
As far as PVC maps go, I used the one Dynojet had listed for our bikes for a while, then switched to Marthy's maps and couldn't be happier. Way better than Dynojet's.

I've never had a problem with popping that much. I would say it's completely up to you. I never bought them and my exhaust sounds nice all the time .

I have the TBE Black series and the PCV and i installed the block off plates, no issues to report so far and the block off plates were a much easier install than i expected. I will be getting a dyno tune come spring for now i'm just figuring out this years Winter MODS

Thanks for the advice. I think I will install the ones listed on ebay (Thanks NastyButler) and try out Marthy's Maps before I have it dyno tuned. Dynoworks is just a few miles from my place, but its $300 for the tune. Looking forward to the new sound though!
- Oh and a shout out to the guy that bought the other FZ6R from Granny's in Sarasota the same day I bought mine... I heard you got the same TB/PCV - did you have Dynoworks tune yours?

Where do you go to get someone to dyno it? I've been using Marthy's and I guess I haven't really pushed the limit on the "Sport" map, but I haven't noticed a huge difference between that and the "Touring" map.

That may be true, but I'd rather not have the vestigial remains of the AIS adding extra weight, mere ounces though it may be, to my bike. Not to mention how ugly that contraption is. I wouldn't be able to look a certified mechanic in the eye with that eyesore hanging around. Clean and neat with block offs, just the way I like it.
Donny at Dynoworks - Home in Sarasota, FL is where I will go if I end up going that route. He is an authorized Dynojet PC Tuner.
