Not a bad idea. I've got combat patches from both Panama and Saudi. It'd be cool to sport them on my right sleeve. Gotta think about how to affix them to the textile mesh, below the shoulder armor, but above the elbow armor. :thumbup:I have a 2nd Inf Division Combat Patch! hehe
that's a sharp idea!!! i like it i got one from Iraq and i may have to steal this ideaNot a bad idea. I've got combat patches from both Panama and Saudi. I've been approached by a few clubs in town to join. All of them are just family type clubs, not involved in anything bad (supposedly) But the negative stigma is there, especially in San Diego. If anyone has seen the new show on Discovery "Devils Ride" I've seen that club around town. In fact I kind of got stuck between 4 cop cars when they were driving by the club at a local bar not far from my house. They're supposedly not an outlaw club either. But there are a LOT of outlaw clubs in town and I've some minor contact with them. The other night at a car show my wife saw a member of a club known for gun running and drug dealing in east San Diego County in front of us walking around looking at the bikes and she goes "why would you wear something that says you're a **********?" (I'm not naming the club intentionally) in a fairly loud voice. I could have killed her. You have to be careful around here when you come up on a group of Harleys in the canyons and look at their backs. If you recognize the name, probably not a good idea to go blowing past them. They take offense to that.as funny or as corny as it may sound this is actually VERY serious business. A lot of these people wouldn't hesitate to kill you if you acted folly about them which is what I find pathetic to be honest.
I was riding with a group of friends and we got approached by a motorcycle gang and they thought we were a new gang in their territory because we ride together often. Stfu and go ride was what I was thinking lol(this was after I was out of the ghost riders)
I am not in a club and still manage to do an autism awareness ride every year. I also ride the toys for tots, as well as several other local things.I ride with cajun xtreme bike crew. We do rides and events to help raise motorcycle awareness. Even some of the 1% clubs yall talk about arent bad like yall think. If yall get to know them they are some of the nicest people ud meet. They also do alot of events around here to raise money for st jude and other charitys.
I was thinking of the same thing but on a leather jacket, but on a mesh jacket you might have to hand sew it. you can also add on your combat action or CIB badge if you have one, or strip your whole dress uni minus the ribbons and transfer them to a jacket, but that might be a little too much, lol.Not a bad idea. Don't need any license for that. You can buy them online, though they're a bit pricey. Depending on what state you're in, you may need to take a course covering their use to qualify for "good samaritan" protections and might need to register it. Rescuer level CPR (full day course) from either AHA or ARC covers the training requirement in every state I've ever checked.I just had a really serious stupid question..... I do actually belong to a club. I think..... Rescue riders... It is more of an organization for parades, and such. I also ride with a medics kit in my bag at all times. I am working on getting an emt liscense so I can carry a difib.!
1,500 in 24 hrs isn't that bad... I did 981 in 18 hrs on my old honda shadow 1100.Your crazy Marthy lol
