Yup. But you need to follow the directions I posted quite a while back on how to mount them.
I have to agree with you now John, I installed mine last night and its so much better.R6S mirrors are the way to go. They're the mirrors that should have been on the bike from the beginning.
Ryan, would you be able to provide us with a link? Thanks man.New Mirrors, Got some CNC barend ones from Rideitmoto. Very nice quality and like them alot so far. mirror block offs on the way too
I have ZX-6R Ninja mirrors as well. There is no drilling, but there are only certain years that fit our bikes if I am not mistaken. Mine are for an 09 ZX-6R, but I know there are a few years that are usable with the same bolt pattern. They are very easy to install. Try a search on here. I believe someone made a tutorial how to remove/install mirrors. If not I can probably help you out. Wasn't hard or complicated at all. I think it only took 5-10 minutes. The picture up above from Aaronhaji is exactly what they will look like. Mine are carbon fiber though, as is my helmet.Did you have to make any alterations to the bike im looking for a better look but with no drilling or having the mod anything else just bolth and go
Just as good as stock IMO. The difference is that with ZX-6R mirrors you have to look under your elbow or pull it in instead of over with stock mirrors. I can still see behind me just as good as stock, plus they look 1 million times better. How's visibility with them?
Mine are bolted in the same holes using the nuts from the stock mirrors. You can reuse the rubber boots from the stock mirrors to cover the base. I've seen it done both ways. The new mirrors don't cover the area previously inhabited by the old mirrors 100%. so some prefer to cover the base. I don't have the rubber boots on because it didn't look right for some reason. So mine are just bolted straight on to the fairing.Just to double check on something on the pictures that were just posted of the mirrors on the bike at the bottem where it goes bolted onto the bike it looks as if they are siting on a mount or some other extention i could be wrong but it looks taller like if there on something and that something is bolted into the bike. I could be wrong but well just wondering cause i do plan on ordering mine and want to make sure i know what i am buying.
