Pro maneuvering on Honda CBR. Wonder if this is possible on a fz6r:confused:

You'd need higher rearsets on the FZ6R. His pegs touching and they're higher than ours.

I was going to say, seen that on goldwings too, has nothing to do with pegs or type of bike... it's in confidence that you can do it and having the skills to do it...
I honestly don't get it... they never move off the seat, I guess it's just they drop the bike right to the point before it is going to fall, the gas it out of the fall, it's not like they are crawling along when they do it... they are moving at some speed.

I will add, that a few buddies took the total control class, and they talked about doing this type of stuff... wish I had a spare $400... maybe next year:

sounds about right... i have notice that they do not try to counter balance or anyting.... pure throttle control

NICE! They're about 5 mins from where I live (the group that made the video)... and yes... would be nice to have those 400 bucks. I'm thinking I'll try and take one of these advanced classes and MASTER riding on my 6R before even thinking of moving to anything else. Thanks for sharing!

You can do it on any bike if you have those skills. My point was you couldn't get that low on a FZ6R. The cop was unbelievable and I would think it was probably more difficult on the cop bike, but he didn't get anywhere near that low.

I'm not claiming that I can come even close to matching those skills. But a lot of it is simple willingness to turn the handlebars. That's why taking a tight, right-hand turn for a new rider is so hard. A bike dives at low speed, when the handlebars are turned directly. It'll simply turn over and drop, if one is not careful and skilled.

I agree that confidence in one's skill is probably the major factor in being able to do something like that. I would say that bike difference has to play a part in it, though. No doubt the cop on the Harley, or an equally skilled and confident rider on a GoldWing can get pretty low. They can't get as low as a sport-bike, though. Too much stuff dragging the ground simply won't allow it to lean as far.
