My new toy! Bought a boat!

Perfect

Dude that is a perfect little boat. You can catch just as much fish if not more than those fancy bass speed demons. The best part u dont even have to worry about getting it dirty. Me personally I like. Great buy.

Exactly! I was looking for a fancier boat at first, but then looked at the different boating forums. All these nicer looking older boats are rotted out on the inside. So many people buying a good looking outside and then get into it to find out its rotted and have to put thousands in fixing it.

All aluminum, you get what ya see! This is perfect for the fishing I want to do... Will handle any of the lakes out here.

Loved it, we went out a few weeks ago and just trolling back and forth in front of a dam. We were pulling up kokanee left and right while some bigger fancier boats said they werent catching nothin when we met at the dock. Felt good haha.

Just the right size to fit myself, wife and daughter or 3 adults just fine too.

Here she is with the last coat on it!!! I have anti-slip additive in this coat so you can see it looks speckled. It is a pumice/sand mixture.

Turned out real nice. The first coat kind of scared me because it was spotty, but this one made it look great. Very happy with it now!

I am going to give it a couple weeks to fully cure before I put the seats and all back in.

Cant wait to get it back out on the water...

You gonna put a boat motor on that?

Getting a 45lb thrust trolling motor for it. Have a 30 right now and it moves it pretty good all day on the lake.

There ya go.......
What about a bigger lake of if you are in a bass tournament?
I had a 14' aluminum with a 15 hp Johnson and it was scary. Did 37 mph. Had to put rail covers along the sides on to push the water down so it didn't come up and into the boat and sink us when at speed. Maybe a 5hp would get you 20 to 25mph and be safe.

Thanks! Very happy with it. Think I am going to just clean and shine up the outside. Dont think I want to paint that.

Dont think I will ever be doing any tourneys... This is a father/son, wife and kid (and me) of course boat. I will have two deep cycle batteries just in case one dies on me. But the one I have now has lasted up to 8 hours of use. So an extra will be even better if I do decide to use it to get to the other side of the lake. Most all lakes out here though have multiple launch points, so it shouldnt be a problem.

I have ores in the boat too, just in case all else fails :D I didnt really wanna mess with a gas motor... But maybe one day in the future. Will definitely be under 10hp though if I do.

Its great to know its all sealed up too! Nice new paint and sealer.

Update with all my stuff back in/on it! Got my new Minn Kota 45# thrust on it too!!! I still need to remake the front triangle wood piece. I may turn it into a little storage area or something. Still need to do something with the ouside as well... Not going to paint it, it is in too good of shape. Plan on cleaning it and polishing it up a little bit.
