1/2 hour on the saddle and I bet you won't care. [emoji12]I'm sure the performance is great, but they need a faired version. Not a naked bike fan (z1000 might be one exception if I made an exception). I think if I were to go naked I'd just get a cruiser. I'd love the performance of the triple and low price though. Yamaha needs to make at least one faired triple.
Well, I am cross shopping naked bikes myself (liter SS vs liter naked), my main concern is getting a sore neck on long rides from being upright and full windblast - any feedback on that issue?1/2 hour on the saddle and I bet you won't care. [emoji12]
imo, riding in clean air is the key. My new bike came w/ such a low-profile windscreen that I was really suprised how much better it was than my fz6r w/ the Puig screen. It's all about eliminating turbulence. That reduces most of the wind blast on my chest and the helmet flow nice clean air all day.
for me it's the bugs... my screen is covered daily in splats that would have otherwise wound up on my face, shoulders, arms... same with my legs, fairing blocks it.... add to that the amount of dump trucks in this area and, yeah, getting hit with rocks sucks!imo, riding in clean air is the key.
