I thought it was over when Lorenzo was 1.5 secs back from Stoner. You know how Stoner was last year, give him a slight lead and he's gone! You can tell Stoner just lost his tires at the end. But damn those Honda's are still fast! Disappointed with Ducati... They were horrible last year, and this year there not looking to good either. They really have no excuse this year!

Who's Carl Crutchlow? 
Cal and Dovi had a good scrap. I like both those guys and it's really good to see the satellite Yamaha boys running well. Really bummed to see Ben drop back like that. Not sure what the hell that was all about. Had to be a mechanical of some kind, maybe a tire issue. Either that or possibly an injury they're not talking about from that qually crash. But he's way faster than that.
The CRT teams did much better than expected. People were all worried that it was going to turn into situations like you get in La Mans where you have two or three classes on the same track with hugely different speeds and people getting lapped before they're halfway through the race. I think only the last one or two bikes even got lapped and they had offs.
Ducati needs to pull their heads out. Hayden did well to come in 6th. But Rossi was using this years bike at the end of last year and they weren't making any vast improvements then, so they should have had plenty of time to rework things. It seems like Ducati has a bad habit of getting something in their minds that they're going to do and they just stick to it, no matter how poorly it's performing. I mean their last bike with the frame-less design obviously doesn't work properly, yet they release their new production bike with that same concept.
Not that it's not going to work perfectly fine for a streetbike, but their Superbike teams are probably going to suffer once they have to switch to that bike from the 1199 that they're winning with right now. Only thing I can think of is that they're so much smaller than companies like Yamaha and Honda that they have to see anything they start all the way through because they just don't have the resources to just scrap something and start over if it's not working.
The Moto2 race was awesome! I've liked Marquez since he was on a 125. He's aggressive and confidant. I know Luthi thought he got squeezed out, but Marc had the line, he was in front. Luthi should have backed off at that point and tried to square up the turn. Instead he tried to hold onto the outside and ended up running it wide. But that race was proof that the formula that all the GP series needs to go to is something like what the CRT teams are trying to develop right now. Close up the field a bit but still make it a manufacturers championship to win.

My bad, I meant Cal Crutchlow... Ben Spies was blaming on tire chatter that held him back. The same problem a lot of other riders are complaining about...

I've been watching the documentary on 2002 - 2011 season and it's really weird. The riders all seem to hate each other so much off the field.
Stoner always seems calm and collected. But, he makes some really condescending comments to Rossi in 2011 after Rossi crashed into him. I know he was prolly pissed off beyond. But, he questions Rossi's sincerity cuz he came over with all the cameras watching and something about Rossi's ambition exceeding his skills. Ouch!
I mean, Rossi came over an apologized again... He already apologized on the track, but he still came over to make sure Stoner was ok and to say he was sorry. That means something in my book. Stoner just seems kinda cold- tho I know he was pissed off.

Yeah, saw that last year. But Rossi is no rookie and might of did that on purpose or should of known better... To soon for an apologize I guess.
