MotoGP today (Spoiler Alert!!!!)

Well, here's the thing... He made a mistake, and he acknowledged it & apologized for it- twice in person... That's really all one can do in a competitive sport like this. No one rides 100% flawless 100% of the time. And, some moves on the track are bound to be risky sometimes. And, riders all take risks. By way of comparison, had it been Simoncelli, he prolly wouldn't have said anything or apologized at all...

Holy $hit!!! What a great race so far!!!! Come on Nicky... Get that podium!

so rossi is back in the pack again eh

hayden or spies 1-3 please!

...and the results are in. = not liking how this season is so far :(

I wish hayden would have held on.....

I think he lost a bit of confidence with the little "moment" he had and I'm sure that magnifies with losing the grip on the tires.

He was riding like a bat out of hell those first few laps though!!!

Stoner gets his first pole of season

not bad, i'd switch spies and stoner and throw BAUTISTA in and its certainly reasonable. unless stoner crashes, with the pole, don't see how he won't at least make the podium

I think itll be pedrosa first because "Casey Stoner took his first pole position of the season with Dani Pedrosa in second just 0.013 off his team mate in a dramatic qualifying practice session at the Estoril circuit"

I just feel pedrosa will push it a split harder and get the podium. I could be wrong, but its how Id like to see the lineup finish....VR needs to be top 6....I really want him to be there.

VR needs to be top 6....I really want him to be there - you, and almost the entire country of Italy

Colin Edwards to undergo surgery/out of Portuguese MotoGP

Colin Edwards has been ruled out of Sunday's Portuguese Grand Prix after suffering a broken left collarbone during qualifying at Estoril, for which he is to under surgery.

The MotoGP veteran, who also broke a collarbone at Catalunya last year and suffered further shoulder damage in Marco Simoncelli's fatal accident at Sepang, tangled with fellow CRT rider Randy de Puniet with eleven minutes of the session remaining.

de Puniet lost the front of his Aprilia, which then slid across the asphalt and wiped out the unsuspecting Edwards, who was off the racing line on an out-lap. de Puniet eventually walked away, but Edwards remained stationary on the edge of the track after landing hard on his left shoulder.

:(
