Guestimate about 10kDoes anyone know of a price yet?
Do you know a official release date for Europe?I know in England it's going to go for $6799 (pounds of course), and if it's anywhere between that and the FZ8's price, I will definitely.....have to beg my wife
At close to $10K the Z1000 makes much more sense, IMO...Been driving all day. So here's are my tough. So Yamaha duplicate the StT but needed 175cc more to get the same ponies. HP is within what the FZ8 pull, event less if you do the R1 cam swap. Only + is the 30 lbs or so lighter. Do those 30 lbs worth paying the price of a FZ1 with 20HP deficit?
I think the bike will appeal to the Yamaha fan base but if you take a step back and think about it... they are not even close to be able to get a killer on the market with this bike.
At 10K there's better I think. If you consider that Yamaha is not renowned to get there bike all sort out straith out of the box... so add another $1-2 K...

or the the Triumph Street Triple lol, or even the MV Agusta Brutale 675/800At close to $10K the Z1000 makes much more sense, IMO...
I hear you. If there market is in Europe... they will be ok maybe. But $ for $ Italian will buy Italian bikes and in the UK they will buy St-T. That big suspense to revolutionize the motorcycle market as we know it... Like anything else, not always the ones who scream the loudest that make the most damage! At close to $10K the Z1000 makes much more sense, IMO...
