First, they are aluminum vs. steel, and they are thick, so they help with feeling the vibes through the hands and wrists. See the pictures in the beginning of the post for a comparison. They change the stance very little. It isn't going to give you the feel of clip-ons. I do not have the bike anymore, so I can't take pictures. My wrists did not hit the tank, and I also checked to make sure that I wouldn't pinch my fingers. No manipulation or alteration needed to be done on the clutch or brake cable. I actually at the same time did my Spiegler lines, so I couldn't tell you for stock, but as I said, the height is not much different. What is the major difference between these bars and our stock? I am turning mine into a cafe racer and want to use these bars to get lower in my stance. Not sure I want to do clip on's even though I know that will do the trick. Can you take pictures from the side of the bike so I can see how much lower they are than the stock? after cutting an inch off of each side does your wrist hit the tank when in a turn? Did you have to manipulate the brake cable? I would think that this would make the cable longer than one would like. Thanks, and sorry for so many questions. I want to order soon!
