Geico used to have good rates, but they raised mine ($980 for two bikes) even though I hadn't had any accidents, claims, or losses. Switched to Allstate, and got a good rate ($490), but then had problems with the company not processing all the paper I sent to qualify for their discounts, and getting notices that my premium was being increased. Allstate admitted they had received the paperwork, but "couldn't do anything" to suspend the withdrawal of additional premium from my checking account. So, I switched to Dairyland Cycle (Sentry), which was a little more ($580) than Allstate but still a lot less than Geico. I've heard good things about State Farm, but would have had to switch our auto insurance to get their lowest rate, and their auto insurance was more than Geico, so I would have been paying about the same with either company. I shop every year now because I've not realized any benefit from staying with one company. Discounts available: homeowner, multi-policy, transfer, AMA member, MSF class grad.
