i'm all for automatic transmission, and with low MSRP, whatever puts more people on bikes and on the road is a win win

I respectfully disagree. Driving in general in North America is too diluted, to the point of being unnecessarily unsafe. Getting a license is too easy and people are relying on their cars to do too much for them, allowing them to become more and more distracted while driving. That's bad enough in a cage, on a motorcycle is a whole other problem. My personal opinion is that, should you be unwilling or unable to learn how to operate a clutch, you do not belong on the roads on a motorcycle. There are people who have proven their riding ability already who could benefit from an automatic bike I'm sure, and excluding them is not my premise. Motorcycling is very dangerous, though, and something not to be casually approached. I think that making a 700cc motorcycle easier for a beginner to handle is counter-productive. But, you know what they say about opinions...
surely respect your opinion, all are welcome. this 700 isn't the usual sportbike config. and only 50hp, of course yes still anyone can get in trouble with it, esp. beginners.
^^
My Suzuki GS500 (arguably the best beginner bike out there) had more power than this 700cc. I know a guy who has an NC700 and is bored to tears with it. Already trying to sell it after 2 months.
