lol... That's hilarious!

Spectacular.

i've only been up to GMR late at night in my car... definitely fun, but that road makes me wish i had adaptive headlights cuz almost every turn is a hairpin, blind turn.

i'm too newbie to attempt to run that on the bike... :(

Wow... I watched a few of that guy's GMR ride videos... what a gorgeous road. I am so jealous of people that live by those kinds of roads... :( Illinois roads SUCK for twisties!!

GMR is only about 20 minutes east of where i live... problem with that road though, is that because it is fun, there are way too many crazy people on it driving, riding, bicycling, or doing whatever it is they do at or past the limits of what they ought to be doing it at...

the last time i went up there, there was a white honda civic completely torched and burning into the ground by the side of the road. Glendora PD hadn't even had a chance to respond yet. and, i didn't see anyone at or around the car. might've been a gang crime or who knows what. but i sure as heck wasn't going to pull over and find out. we just called it in and kept driving...

the best time is either really early in the am, or late at night to avoid all the traffic.

Yeah I live about 3 minutes from the road, so I'm up there all the time. The best time to go is before noon on weekdays or morning on weekends. Yeah things can and do get crazy, but as long as you know your limits, it is a good road to have fun on.
