Hid

I got the H4 5000k kit from them. It works...haven't really gotten a chance to test it out as there is 3 feet of snow out. My mom actually got the 2 bulb kit for me for Christmas and because I have nothing to do with the other bulb, I sent the other bulb and ballast back. Josh who runs kryptonbulbs is great. He returned my emails and questions quick. Just make sure you get the single bulb kit. Also, pretty easy to install.

Edit: added the link to the kit I got

I got the 6000k bulbs and am pleased with them and Josh's service. The light beam is much wider than the stock bulb, and is much more intense. For good light and a nice blue hint, I would recommend the 6000k, but for optimum light output, go for the 4000k or 5000k.

I GOT MY HID INSTALLED. yep thats right I ordered my kit from krypton and wow it was amazing.

At first I ordered on Jan 23rd. I was watching the order and it had not changed from processing order for a while. Yesterday I check my email and it said my order was shipped so I was very happy. I check the tracking and it said it was delivered. So I went out to the mail and what do you know there it is. I started yesterday but all I did was take the fairings off and remove the decals. Then I waited till today. I woke up and started right away. I must say that was extremely easy! I didn't have to read any instructions or anything.

I removed all the plastics and had the front bare. I took the stock bulb out. I slide the HID bulb into the dust stopper and placed the bulb in. After that it was even more simple. I took the ballast and mounted on the frame under the gas tank. I didn't use any tape or Velcro. All I did was mount the metal triangle onto the ballast and then there is a bolt under the tank bolted into the frame. It fit prefect, nothing hitting it stays with out budging, and its grounded. I also put the seat to the high position and am hoping that it will give me more of a laying down position.

Ill post pictures later when I can get it outside. My garage is super cramped.

Gotta love the difference over OEM. I was returning from a long ride in the deserts of Cali with my dad with his 07 V-Star, and we stopped in the desert to check out the views in the pitch black night. The moment we started our bikes, his light was drowned out by the overwhelming distance and spread of my HID.
