Hey ya'll! My name is Fred, I just bought a 2012 FZ6r last week with 6800 miles. This is my first bike and I let common sense prevail over that r6 that was staring me in the face. I completed the msf course a few years ago and now I'm ready to ride. Looking forward to chatting with everyone here!

Welcome, Great bike, still a lot for your first ride so be careful. Gear up. i hate crash posts and can't read em. IMO unless you are a going to be a super speed at the track all the time kinda guy you made the right choice. Dont know how old you are but for us older guys the R6 is comfortable for about 20 minutes. The 6R is a much better all around ride for the streets. I would like to get my hands on an FZ1 though
