Mine does the same, normal! I like to blame the deterioration of the hose due to ethanol in the fuel. Alcohol base fuel is a killer for rubber line... not big deal. Every now and then I cut the beat up part of the hose. When it start to get a little short I will change the hoses. I try to find something a little more resistant.
Yeah, I got that! The vent line was leaking fuel and the dealer told be that this was normal... Well, it only happens when the bike is parked under the sun when the tank gets very hot, the fuel evaporates and drips from the vent line. Thera ya go! :wav:
I'm having the same problem..they told me it was normal and that the fuel tank is building pressure then venting thru the down tube and condensing into a oil?gas like fluid. Not happy about it but they say there is nothing they can do about it..
