Dog problems. Any vets here???

Jay, I train Labradors for field trials and obedience. I am pretty good with dogs as I help a lot of people train their problem dogs. I have also spent a lot of time researching food. Stop buying your dog food at the big box stores. I see you are out in Oregon. Do you have any feed stores for horses and farm animals (Tractor Supply)? A lot of them carry dog food and some pretty good brands. I am using Diamond Dog Food. The Natural series. It is a great food and very reasonable in price. $30 for a 40 lb. bag. Cut your dogs food portions way back. You would be surprised the amount of food they really need to survive. I always measure my dog food. No table scraps. Your dog probably only needs a cup of food a day. Feed twice a day. Not all at once. I bet you can really get your dog healthy with some large doses of glucosamine and chondroitin. Buy a big bottle for humans at Walmart. Write me if you need any help.
