Covering your bike in concrete doesn't make it faster...

Yesterday on my B-day went out for a ride with the riding group I joined...

Cleaned most of the mess yesterday, planing to take a q-tip and start detailing today, but apparently the black cloud I had follow me this weekend is still around, a water pipe broke a block away, so no running water........

I was mad...........
One of the guys I was riding with, he was exiting then decided not to exit and came back on the first lane witch was close for repairs. There was a couple of patches of fresh concrete he hit and sprayed that crap all over me and the bike.

Probably after I get back from the Saddle Sore 1000 next week, I'll strip her naked and do some serious detail cleaning on it.

Definitely looks way better here than in the first picture. I'm sure there's some hidden concrete somewhere though...

Yes, there's a couple of spots that I can't reach with all the covers fairing and stuff on, I'll complete detail it soon.

Anyway I hope everybody who seen the pictures was a little bit entertained by my mishap

I'm glad you were able to clean it off. And sorry you weren't feeling up to riding yesterday. It was a gorgeous day in Cherry Valley. You riding to Lake Geneva with us next weekend? We'll try to keep the cement off of you next time.

I know it was funny, I was laughing too, now that I know there's no permanent scars .
Well yesterday.... :iconbeer: let's just say that I can't remember the details for Saturday night too well... I was in no condition to ride, but I did bath "her".
