it's not So Cal, but i imagine you'll get to ride your R1 a hella lot more in Frisco than in Ohio... at least that's something to be happy about...

safe travels, take lotsa pix, and dont' linger at rest areas. statistically, more ppl disappear at rest areas than anywhere else on road trips.

Some of the best roads in the state are in Norcal. I'm in the wine country and there are plenty of roads here that are challenging. Hace yet to try this one!

Good luck Rat,, I am sure that you and the R1 will miss the snow (yeah right!) Have a safe drive and ride. If you look at your map, I am located just to the right of Maine (not New Brunswick) and above the word "Vermont". And yes we have lots of snow too,,so I feel your pain going to a sunny ,warn climate :thumbup:
