It was strange at first, like it didn't really sink in, just "ok, I have to get there, is he hurt, is the bike salvageable, find someone w/ a truck, get the bike home, etc" then a day or 2 later I really freaked out about it. Thanks for the note, its very appreciated :)
Definitely could be the meds. Same kinda thing happened when my Dad was in the hospital a few years ago. He was certain the hospital went out to sea everyday and that my step mom was breaking him out when they discharged him.
Glad he's gonna be alright, and hopefully heals soon.

I definitely prefer color to B&W tattoos. I don't think either of those designs should be hard for a good artist. Yellows sometimes fade quick or don't show up well, so that is something to keep in mind.
Yea, had I thought to ask about that when they asked to take it, we probably would have said no.
But things work out, we're back to pretty much where we were before the accident, and in about a year when I can do more riding, I get to go shopping :D

What he ^ said!
Honestly, the Galaxy really is a great phone, and if I'd never had an EVO I'd probably love it. It's really minor things that bug me.
I have been trying to find a setting to not go to mobile sites automatically. It's a big enough screen that the full sites would be fine. Found...
While I see where you are coming from, it wasn't a desperate "we have to do this to survive" situation. We made the choice because the interest rate was FAR better than what we were paying, and that meant we are paying it off faster. It wouldn't always be the best choice, but it made the most...
Interest is pretty low. We could probably pay it off if the bike does in fact get totaled. It's worth considering, for sure.

Thanks for the good thoughts and kind words everyone. It certainly made for a hell of a day. Feel like there's more I should say, but nothing seems quite right.
To be fair, I knew the risks. I'm not always a passenger, and have been down before.
Just so glad we both walked away.

Wanted to quote the sentence(s) I'm commenting on but I keep getting an error. Sorry if that makes this confusing.
I agree with you, excessive groping, etc. doesn't need to be a public event. It is though and its everywhere. *Most* of the time I don't see many people saying much about it unless...
Maybe you personally don't, but heterosexualness is out there everywhere in pretty much everyone's face. Just instead of calling it that, we say its the norm. Books, TV, movies, ads, etc.
And I'm not going to say that it's wrong. I really think its just a reflection of the majority. So those of...
No I wouldn't, but mostly because I don't pay to go see many movies at all, and comic ones don't top my list.
By that same token, I didn't pay to see Brokeback Mountain either, it still did well from what I understand.

Some people's opinion is that its bad/wrong. The publishers and writer's opinion seems to be that it isn't.
They have the right to print it, other's have the right to boycott buying/reading it.
Seems fair to me.
And it very well could just be a type of publicity stunt. It's already got tons...
There is interview after interview w/ gay people saying they knew it at a young age. (Just saw a link where Neil Patrick Harris told Oprah he knew around 6 or 7)
Maybe having something as mainstream as a comic book will make it easier for kids to express the differences they're feeling. And...
Glad your co-worker saw it in time.
Thankfully there is a dedicated motorcycle parking at work, and that area is a concrete slab.
Really would be nice to get one of those pucks though for the random occasions we have to park on less than desirable surfaces.
