Yeah, it is unfortunate, but you know, we can start over on that next year when my wife starts riding again, and she gets a brand new bike out of the deal too. So I guess it all works out, but we both were kinda attached to that Vulcan...

Yea, had I thought to ask about that when they asked to take it, we probably would have said no.

But things work out, we're back to pretty much where we were before the accident, and in about a year when I can do more riding, I get to go shopping

If you look at Yamaha's website it says that it is a SS. I don't think so, I would call it an unfaired sport touring bike, or a naked liter bike, definitely not geared and valved as the R1...
