I haven't gotten to ride my bike in years. I want to start riding again but don't know what to do with the old gas in it? Do I need to tear it apart and clean everything? Can I just siphon it and run new gas through it? Is there a fuel additive that can clean everything out?
I added a 4 pt fuse block. It did not have a place for grounds. I didn't want to take up any more room with a ground bus bar so I grounded everything where the battery was grounded at.
new additions
Cleaned and lubed my chain, changed the oil and lubed the cables for the first time on my own. I have now spent a few days trying to figure out how to mount the Banshee horn system. I finally got it mounted but it isn't working. So now I need to double check the fuses and wiring...
I am sorry to hear about your accident and you injuries. I am glad to hear that you have recovered well. I think it is great that you are ready to get back on two wheels!
I will ride down into the mid to high 30s w/o heated gear. But only for commuting or in-town rides. My main problem here in AL is when it gets too hot here to ride. When it gets too hot I just can not breathe the air no matter how much ventilation I get.
I am not sure if I put this in the right topic but I thought this was a neat tool. Found this on another forum. It shows you your riding position on most motorcycles according to your height.
