Kevlar jeans ?

I wear Speed and Strength Kevlar jeans and Dainese Norsorex Pants.Both are quality products.I hope this will protect me in case of an accident.

Those norosrex look awesome! How's the armor in them? Do they breathe pretty well for summer riding?

The armor is pretty good, way better than the armor that comes in some jackets.I bought it last September, i haven't had the chance to see how is during the hot summer, but around 70-75 was pretty comfortable. Definitely a must buy.

The important thing to remember with Kevlar jeans is to close all the buttons and zippers, wash them right side out in cold water, and hang them to dry inside. Make sure no sunlight hits the inside and don't expose them to heat or the dryer. It degrades the Kevlar.

Also, I see so many riders in the canyons wearing their knee/shin armor outside of their jeans and not tucking these inside. Esp women.

A good impact will snap or burn that Velcro right off. So it's always better to strap them on underneath the jeans and inside your boots. Otherwise, they won't be effective.

I wear them too. I'm not sure if they would really help if I go down or if they just provide a false sense of security, but I like them. My only complaint is that I have to wear the men's jeans (so they are too big in the waist) because my legs are too long for the women's. I'm afraid to have them altered because I don't the cleaners to iron them or expose them to heat and ruin them.
