Yea thats all you need. Also, the front plastic needs to be trim(the black piece). I believe the autotune does everything for you, it tunes the bike as you go.(I believe)
I was going to go the shorty route but didn't want to take a chance on it not working out. Although after putting everything together on my bike, i believe a shorty would work. just you have to mod the r6 header to fit a shorty exhaust on it.
Well i finally decided to get exhaust for my bike. I used 03-05 header and a yoshimura trs slip-on. Its loud and sounds really good.... The whole process was rather easy, except i had to use a fab shop to bend my header(i don't have a torch) other than that it went smoothly.
Cost
slip on- 283...
Thats what I thought, just wanted to be sure. I appreicate the help and hopefully once I get all my parts together and put on, I can take it to get tuned.
So basically if I buy a powercommander and put it on my bike with the r6 header and slip on, take it to a dyno tune, i wont have to worry about an autotuner?? Because the dyno is making a custom setup right? I'm just alittle confused on the two different systems?
I have already started working on my r6 header mod. My next goal is to figure out what tuning product i will use. After seeing this thread on the PCV, do we know if they now have maps for people using the r6 header setup and if not what are my options?
