I agree!. Mine has the extra recoil spring for use with .45super ammo. It's a thicker case (made from a shortened rifle case, can't remember which caliber though) that can be loaded to higher pressures.
I belong to a really great gun club. We put on DCM shoots (M1's Garands, M1 Carbines and now allowing AR's) Bowling pin shoots plus Practical Pistol competitions, along with Trap and Indoor 22's at night. There is always something going on. I also shoot at home (I own 2 1/2 acres in the...
I collect all types of Firearms. I have appox 50 pistols (I would have to count them to be sure) from an S&W Lemon Squeezer (series 2) to the S&W 500Mag, including 6 1911's from Kimber, and an FN FiveseveN just to name a very few. I just picked up a 1920 Colt Offical police in UNFIRED condition...
I'm 54, damn more than a half century!!! I don't feel old though! Must be the bike riding, been doing it since 1973, it was my first license. How many of you weren't even born then?;)

I notice that the bottom of the lowered kickstand doesn't sit flat on the ground like the stock one does. I use a 1/4" aluminum plate under my kickstand during the summer to prevent the stand sinking into the hot pavement and preventing a tipover. I wonder how well it will work sitting on the...
Same here. I had planned to replace my decals with the original yellow Yamaha Competition color scheme that was recently posted, the one that matched my Kenny Roberts Edition RZ350. Now I plan on leaving the stock ones intact. Besides if I wanna ride a bike with a color scheme like that I can...
TPS sensors are checked by the voltage they produce. Do you have a shop manual? If not I can look it up tonight and post the values tomorrow, unless another member has the manual handy and can post them earlier. Good luck.
Once while riding with 4 friends to the Montauk Point Lighthouse on L.I., the wind was so bad all our bikes were leaned over at almost a 30deg angle while going straight. Wasn't really scary just super weird and was something I'll never forget.
I use a "Team Glock" backpack. Nice bag, has a laptop spot, plus a spot for an iPod and one for a sealed coffee cup, plus it's also usable when I go to the range, to haul ammo targets and a staple gun plus hearing protection, but I don't CCW carry in it while I ride, that's in my sholder...
I ride with a Joe Rocket Nitro "Yamaha" edition jacket and Joe Rocket Pro Street pants, both w/armor. Very comfortable. I also have JR Big Bang boots plus a pair of their gloves w/gel palms. I haven't used the zip out vest for the jacket yet, but will towards the end of the season.
MNDZA, Did you notice that I had a case of brainfade about reversing the small additional plate brackets? DOH! I was looking at them from the front, without the whole entire bracket being mounted to the bike. They are on the sides they were designed for. All the rest of the posts were correct...
