Need to sell, never done it before, Help?

It actually is still entirely stock, I haven't done any modding to it.I don't really expect to get top dollar for it, in reality I'm hoping for as close to 4000 as I can get. Thanks for the help.

Need to sell, never done it before, Help?

It's been quite a while since I've posted on this forum, and I hope I'm not violating any rules, but I'm in a rough spot and this is the first place I thought to come for help. I've got a 2011 "burnt orange" FZ6R in great condition with ~5k-6k miles, and I'm in a financial downfall. Has anybody...

Is this bike the best starter in its class for a big guy?

When I bought my FZ6R (my first bike), I weighed roughly 250 lbs at 6'3. It did absolutely fine for me. I'm now down to ~215ish, and my fiancee is around 160, and we ride 2 up all the time with no issue. This bike is amazing as a starter. Has plenty of power without being over the top.

    Grooved pavement is a nightmare

Lot of truth to this. The roads here in AL can be an absolute nightmare, with that grooved/gravelled experience being a perfect example of it. They at least had the decency to put out a sign that said "Grooved Pavement" and a warning sign for people on motorcycles. Not something I want to repeat...

    Grooved pavement is a nightmare

So spring is finally here, and while I rode quite a bit during the winter, I'm finally back out just joy riding with friends. Went down an old familiar road, heading out to a good stretch of what is normally completely empty country highway, only to find out that they're right in the middle of...

    Got pull over...

Really does depend on what effects your insurance more. If your insurance is going to go up substantially UNLESS you take the course, I'd go ahead and take it. If it's going to go up regardless of whether you take the course or not? I'd just pay the fine and be done with it, personally. You...

    Need some advice/insight

This is exactly my plan. I'm getting the transmission and clutch replaced right now (for the third time in 4 years thanks to getting cheap as hell used transmissions). Then I'm going to sell it, and hopefully between selling the car and getting tax returns I'll have enough of a down payment...

    Need some advice/insight

I somewhat agree with this, but I've been having a lot of trouble getting my old car fixed. Which is odd, it's a '96 Accord, you would think it would be absolutely no trouble to get parts and such, but its been a nightmare. Also, the mechanics I've taken it to so far have done nothing but try to...

    Need some advice/insight

This is why I'm leery of leasing. Most of the mileage limits I've come across are, in general, not going to work well for me. I put a lot of miles on a vehicle, and I'd be cutting it really close. Thanks to everybody for the help. I really hope I don't have to get rid of this bike, but...

    Need some advice/insight

Yea, when I went looking for cars the other day, I was riding the bike because my car is in the shop still. The dealers offered to trade on the bike, but wouldn't give me an actual value. I know they'll do their best to rip me off, but I just wanted to get opinions on it from all the people here...

    Need some advice/insight

Well fellas, I've fallen on some rather hard times. Not going to go into many details, but I may end up having to either sell or trade my bike to get a reliable cage. My current car is in rough shape, and I've got to replace it, but my job situation is probably not going to leave me with the...

I'll sleep on it for few days...

The FZ1 is amazing without a doubt. I had an interesting conversation with a dealer about it recently, and he actually said he prefers the handling of the 6R better. To each their own of course, I want to ride a FZ1 one of these days. And a R1...but hey, one can dream.

    300 miles ride

Definitely what he said. I went on a 150 mile ride a couple weekends ago. We stopped every 30-50 miles just to stretch and maybe get a drink, and by the end of the day, I was still worn out. My bike is still completely stock, too, so it's completely doable. It just might not be the most...

    Aggressive riding?

This is a pretty good way of looking at it I think. Just gets into semantics more than anything. To me, defensive driving has always been "taking every precaution, even driving more aggressively, to stay away from danger at all costs and be constantly aware of my surroundings." I do this far...

    My redone 954RR
