Just remember that reaction times are only important if you are actually racing. You can sit at the line for 10 seconds and still run a 12.30 pass. The clock doesn't start until you trip the starting line beams.
Yeah Sounds like you got the right idea. I wasn't going all out for my runs, just a fun night trying to win some races. Speed shifting can absolutely save some time, I got the occasional missed shift doing it with the 6r on the street and like I said I wanted consistency to win races. I don't...
You have nothing to gain by lowering the tire pressure in the rear. The 6r will not spin at the track with standard psi. You would actually lose e.t. since the low pressure would casue more drag/friction on the track. I would do as marthy suggested and bump up the front tire to decrease...
125-130mph seems to be the general concensus. 6th gear on redline put me at 126 on a flat road. Not electronically limited, just gearing/power limited.
It's just faster for the factory to use rivets. I always just drill the rivets out and then replace em with short bolts/nuts. You should use some loctite on them too so they don't vibrate loose. I can't say 100% that it will work for your car but I have done it a few times on other cars.
I rode for 6 years 16-22 on 5 different bikes and never once laid one down at speed. I had ALOT of really close calls, I slid the back tire in panic several times, spun 180 degrees in the snow on my ninja 250, ran off the road twice, had a guy stop in the middle of the road and almost backed...
Don't get discouraged so easily. I sold my FZ in 2 days but the year before It took me 6 months of constant craiglisting to sell my R1, But I sold it for only $100 off my asking price. (I started advertising at the end of the season) One thing I always do on CL with a bike is start out $500 over...
I just mounted mine to the left side of my helmet. I used the mount that comes with the camera. It's tricky with some odd shaped hemets but it worked for me. I actually mounted it on the edge of the visor since that was the only flat spot on the helmet. If I put my visor up, I get a great video...
I just sold my bike yesterday. 09 raven with 3800 miles. $4450 cash. I listed it on CL for $4900 with must sell in the title. 48 hours later the bike was gone. Sold it to a guy from Elizabethtown PA. Mine was almost dead stock though. Modded bikes can bring good money, you just have to wait for...
