All R6 parts are 2009.
I will adjust the height when they're fitted (as the top/bottom yokes can simply be moved up/down on the fork legs as long as they have ground clearance) so in theory the ride height should be the same.
I'm going to have the suspension setup professionally for the...
It is definitely safe otherwise it would not be legal.
Mine was ridden up to 100mph and ridden hard through the local twisties. Not a problem.
Around 30PSI on a 200kg bike is not going to cause this 'blowout' people worry about.
If you don't want to do it, then don't do it. But I have...
3 weeks of study left and then this is getting finished!
Just thought I'd update you guys with a new photoshop...
That is how she will look in 1 month I hope.
I think I'm having a new stem made, rather than messing about with the current one.
I'm seriously struggling to find a nice front sprocket for the XJ6N (FZ6R same bike).
I've found this:
That is the XJ6 sizes.
So could I buy a Renthal sprocket to fit an R6 and it'd fit the XJ6?
**EDIT**
It appears that it does.
Here is the R6 page...
I think the banner should include an XJ6 - as some international users may not realize they're the same bike.
Any chance I can take a shot at making one or is it too late?
Some previous work of mine:
Basically I need a front sprocket from Driven in the US.
Driven 2009-2014 Yamaha FZ6R 520 Front Sprocket
However - the shipping costs are almost $50 (on a $35 sprocket).
I already have a chain, and rear sprocket from the UK.
Would anybody be interested in a group buy from Driven (US)...
No need to apologize :) The XJ6 has the same sprocket cover as the FZ6R but I cut mine with an xacto knife. I think it looks a bit more like a race bike with the sprocket a bit visible haha
Probably just rain water, or condensation on the down pipes.
It will also happen if you've cleaned it and sprayed something like WD40 to clean the down pipes.
What year R6? Are you certain?
This is killing me lol
I can't find a front sprocket for the XJ6/FZ6R that doesn't look like crap.
Where can I find the specs for the standard front sprocket (I know it is 16T with 520 pitch) but the spline size specs?
This is what I want:
But I need 520...
Ordering new chain and sprockets (keeping the stock ratio) and I can't find a front sprocket made by renthal...only rear.
What sprocket do you guys usually go with? Renthal are drilled so lighter and they look cool haha
