Cool write up, having ridden all of my friends bikes I think I still like 600's more than anything else. Its so quick to turn on the coners. I'd have to try riding the zx-14 as so far I've only had the chance to be on a 6r and a 250r of the kawas. I'm sure you'll love the gixxer750, everyone...
Used a center stand and two jacks for the fine adjustments and it all went in smoothly. Not sure how you guys got it on without removing the bolt on the bottom of the spring.
Is there a mod out there that will shift the foot rest for the ride back about a few inches? I've seen these on a lot of GSXR's as well as a few other bikes.
My buddy that I was riding with had a car turned into his lane right in front of him while we were traveling at 35 mph. The impact caused both him and his fiancee to flip off the bike and the first point of impact were their helmets to the pavement. On top of that the cops that came out said...
My buddy uses engine ice on his 2005 R1 and said that it drops the engine temp down about ~15 degrees however it has to be changed out twice as often as the oem fluids. According to the R1 forums getting a different Y pipe will reduce the heat of the engine. Not sure if it applies to the FZ6R...
Was it the 2008 or the 2009 GSXR that they started doing that 3 riding mode thing. The dealer said that it can be set at 400cc and 500cc to made the ride a bit more tamed for new riders.
Has anyone installed these springs on a bike that has the lowering links and has the forks lowered as well? I notice someone asked if there was a 1/2 inch drop version of the spring but if I wanted to just go ahead and get these so combined with the 1.75 drop i'm getting from the lowering links...
wow 3100 for insurance thats nuts. I heard that in canada most insurance companies are ran by the government so its pretty much a monopoly. Wonder how much more it would cost you on the kawi. I sat on one recently and feels like a very nice bike. My buddy is looking to get one soon as he...
Nice looking helmet, I've never even seen or heard of that brand before. Does it also have that cheek pad system thats avail on the arai corsair and the shoei x-twelve where you pull an clip and the cheek pad comes out making it easier to remove the helmet in the event of emergencies?
