peeling it off? what is the next color?
The orange was getting dirty, way past being able to clean it. Plus, the edges weren't perfect and I'm a perfectionist. I'll rock the Raven for a bit. My wife will probably buy me a gallon of dip for my birthday this summer and we will try something else. What color? Don't know yet.

P40 theme it..Od green plasti dip on the tank and fenders, leave the sides black to match the p40 shark mouth, + a white vinyl strip across the bottom for air camo.I hit you with some repp for having the patience to use that orange, I bought a can of the orange and 4 coats later I could still see through it like it was tinted glass lol.

im confused, looks like you are peeling a black layer off to get to an orange layer?
bleedinblue, that's why I had to do 4-6 coats of black, then 4-6 coats of white, and then power up the compressor and use the gallon of orange. It wasn't easy, and the spray cans, in my opinion, are A LOT easier to spray and get even coverage. Appreciate the rep!
latony007, the bike is raven (black/red) from the factory. I'm peeling the orange but you can see my base black layer coming up too. The three colors of plastidip fused together and come up like one big sticker.

And Thus, the FZ6R forum cried many tears as the orange 6R was awesome. lol Sad to see the orange go but dang you have amazing patience to do that. I just had a recent experience with plastidip on a friend's car. HE PLASTIDIPPED THE ENTIRE CAR. It was horrible. But it looks a lot better than it did before.

Not technical today but Saturday I installed my two bros black series, pc5 and driven block off plates. The sound is amazing. Little bit of popping but I'm running the stock PC map. Gonna try marthys map out this weekend.

If you didn't already hook up the speed sensor hook it up and run marthy's adv gear Rev b.

That's the plan. I have to get some 22g wire and hook it up. The map I'm running isn't to bad but I place a bit more faith in marthys.

I always left those maps free and out to share. But as a community I always hope that everyone send a little donation to this forum. I know a lot did in the past and a little bit here and there keep the house running. :thumbup:
