Thanks man I did a ton of mod's this weekend. im tring to roll out my mods soon probably in a VID.
Really nice! I got anxious and didn't wait as long between coats and I should have, and reassembled while still a little wet... BUT took less than 15 minutes and looks great.

Looks great I ended up buying my tinted screen I never thought about just spray painting my clear one but I'll have that as a spare I guess although I do want to make mine different with a sticker or something

Probably cut it down a few inches when I decide to get ZX-6R mirrors. Would want to make mine different too, but stickers aren't my route

Nice mod...I have it done on my ninja 250R and like it there too. I haven't done it to my 6R, though, because I like to put my gopro on the tank..
You'll love the ZX-6R mirrors. They look a 100 times better and just as functional. Just need to tuck you elbow or look under instead of over. I am so glad I changed mine. I hated the way the rabbit ears looked.

I have a pic in my profile of my son sitting on my bike with the ZX-6R carbon fiber mirrors. It's not a great pic but it's all I have right now. When I get my screen painted and my bike shiny clean I will post better pics.

Which color choice for a windscreen do yall think would go best with the white '09 FZ6R? I'm undecided and can't find any pictures of a white bike with darker windscreens.
Will415 has a white 6r with a blacked out screen. The thread is called no more rabbit ears. He has a pic there.

Love it, yea I'm going to do the same. I'll go through this thread again and check on what you did for yours. I saw some people painted theirs, and others bought it, but I really like yours so I'll probably stick with whatever you did.
Edit: K I saw your post but it didn't say how you did yours. Did you do what the OP did or did you buy a dark screen?

That was a great video i had never even seen it i just kinda winged mine when i did it and it came out good well ruff on the inside but the part that people will see came out good. Good job to everyone and to the ones of you who are trying to get this mod done its worth it bottle of glossy black paint for plastic at walmart cost me only about 4.99 or so. YEAHHH BUDDYYYYY!!!
