Hard to say.. it feels like i could get the fron up if i tried. The bike is a little heavy.but cannot notice it at all while balanced and riding. It's a very balanced bike. Oh and one other thing... I do not think seat is height adjustable. I pulled it and could not see anyway to do that. I need am ownrrs manual, did not come with one.
Thanks, I dont want to do a clutch up on the interstate or anything.I just like being able to unload the front end before crossing railroad tracks, or when a hill levels out.Its just my off road background following me lol.

None really haha. But that means no wind buffering. Over 80 you can really start to feel the push but its not bad at all. I rather enjoy it. Gives to the whole freedom of riding and such.
I was going to ask too. I like the FZ8 but concern about the windy part... my neck is not that great. I was looking around yesterday about screen available for the 8, not much. Then I found out the Fazer 8 comes 1/2 fairing. So I could always mod it...lolNone really haha. But that means no wind buffering. Over 80 you can really start to feel the push but its not bad at all. That might be the only thing that would make me shift for the FZ1. I need wind protection. Time to put $$$ on the side for cash down... going for it. My wife said if I can find a good deal I could get one and she'll be riding the 6R (will be lowered and restricted!)

I love the fz8 mainly because of its looks, I was eyeing this one
real hard the other day when I stopped by the dealer but I couldnt bring myself to get it as a "upgrade" from the fz6. I figure I'll hang off for a while until I can get a fz1 but man the 8 looks great!!!
