Do you have a name for your bike?


I really want to give my bike a name. I've been struggling with it since February. I've always thought of my bike as being female, since I get so much enjoyment out of it.

My favorite horse, however was a stallion. Peruvian PasoFino and all stud. Man, we used to have some fights. Those were good times. One of my most favorite vehicles I've owned was a 2000 Ford F150 SuperCrew Lariat. It was black as night and had such a presence, I named it Vader.

Perhaps I've been forcing a gender upon my bike, wanting it to be female. I'm going to have to toy with some big, studdly stallion names. My stallion had attitude to spare, and he did it with style. I was like Conan or Alexander when I rode that animal. I had to be, or he'd kick my ass. He was bad-ass, take no prisoners. I was proud to ride him. No one else could.

I really want to name my bike. It's so much more than just a machine to me. Maybe I've just picked the wrong gender for it. Gotta think about that.

I get where you're coming from. I'm not sure I want to force a gender upon my bike, and I too am struggling with a name.
 
Mine is named Gretchen. Gretchens are usually hot and fun to ride! ;) My wife actually named her after the chick from Orange County House Wives. Can't stand the show but she was pretty f-ing hot a few years ago when I got the bike. lol

That may be one of the best bike names I've heard. The reason is even better. :D
 
Named mine Hayvin, because its a haven away from everything while Im on it. Also I spelt it that way after my two kids Hayden and Kevin.
 
After all this time, she has a name: Tora Tenshi. I've been agonizing over names for months. I've gone through many, many, possibilities. On my commute to work today, I looked down at my instrument cluster, and asked her if her name was "Tora." I honestly got all chills and stuff.

Yep it sounds kind of weird. Ok. Call me weird, the name fits my ride. Some of you may remember, "Tora, Tora, Tora" as a movie. According to the wicki, it meant complete surprise was achieved, and "Tora" is tiger, in Japanese. Fitting, I think.

Tenshi is Japanese for angel. I shall call her Tora for short, Tora Tenshi is her long name: Tiger Angel. Tora Tenshi.

if you havent seen it on my bike I have monster logos on it
which name would you vote for?
 
See my mod thread for the reasoning(if you care to know), but I named mine "Courage" :)
 
My bikes name is bobby bo bonsin.actually not really thats just a stupid name i gave myself for this forum. I dont really name my vehicles so nevermind.

I have always used female names for my vehicles.... So I have been trying to think of something neutral... cause we all know the saying "if it’s got tits or wheels it will give you trouble"

No offense ladies... but in my life that phrase has rang true....

After this weekends mod appointment .... I am thinking "sweet shenanigans"
 
As I finally figured out a theme fer mah bike (Gears of War, as I'm obsessed with the series in all ways, shapes, and forms) I'm going with Anya. She's hot, reliable, and dependable, so it makes sense. :cool:

I'll post some pics when I get some of the vinyls on her. It's been to hot outside to mess with, and I have no garage. :(
 
Her name is Black Betty. As in Bambalam.
Also refer to her as "My New Girlfriend", seeing as she was the product of a divorce settlement. :p
