What did you do to your bike today?

Put on some steel braided brake lines onto the bike, and of course changed the brake fluid! Now stops on a dime and now looks cool with the red braided steel.

Did a huge, butt-load of service checks! Put her up on the new paddock stands, stripped her naked, and poked and prodded her until I was satisfied! Wasn't nearly as sexual as the previous sentence made it sound, but still... pretty good. :smoking:

Paid sales tax today and got rid of temp plate. Since it has 1100 miles now rode it between 7 and 11 grand tonight instead of being nice and keeping it under 7 for the most part. Will still baby it, have been getting 48-50 mpg.

Put on Scott dirt bike grips and safety wired them for tomorrow at The Snake.
Painted my bar ends so they look nice.
Charged all the batteries and organized all my camera and radio gear. Got my leathers and under armour all laid out...YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Changed back to stock gearing. Had gone down one tooth on the front sprocket. I liked the extra acceleration but really did not like how close it made all the gear ratios. Our transmission is a really close ratio box as it is. Dropping the one tooth I was shifting so much more. Plus cruising at 70mph at 7500 RPM sucked. I think the stock gearing with the exhaust and Marthy maps are the sweet spot. Most of the twisty roads I normally ride I do them in 3rd gear bottom to top. With the -1 I was either rev'd out like a mad man in 3rd and going slower, bogged down in 4th gear coming out of tight corners and going a bit too fast overall, or up shifting coming out of every turn, then down shifting going into pretty much every damn corner.
