New levers

Mounting presented zero issues. I had to tighten up all the bolts to take out the slack so there is no wiggle in the lever adjust mechanism. No modifications at all..a pure bolt on situation.
A neighbor had some white lithium spray in a can that I use to put some lube on them.

I can't wait to get mine. I'm considering taking the handle bars off when I get them and painting them black to clean everything up even more.

Zoom out and give us a little more of an overall shot.

Edit: Also, how long did it take to get them. The Email I got said it'll take anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks. I've ordered stuff from Hong Kong before and depending on the company I'm ordering from I've had it take both extremes. I'm hoping I don't have to wait another 2 weeks.

total time from placing the order to delivery was 9 days and 12 hours........

I placed the order at 7:58 PM and that was 10:00 AM China time..shipped 1 hour later same day.

just a fyi for others, I have a friend who ordered similar levers from ebay. They are definitely not the quality of pazzos or asvs, etc... The lever has a LOT of play up and down. This might not be a big deal to some, but I definitely noticed it right away.

The play is taken out by tightening both the aircraft bolts on the lever as I posted before. This is normal setup and to not tighten them is leaving out the adjustment part of the installation. Snugging the bolt holding on the lever completes the setup. Once this is done, there is no play or wiggle or any issues.

Your friend didn't bother to adjust the levers so he got what he got....an unadjusted set of levers that are sloppy. He should have snugged up the bolts as the factory does not tighten them to the rider's specifications.

when i get some dough ill be getting these too...

I tested them and they work great. I changed the brake to be closer to the bar but left the clutch out to get a full pull just like I had the long stock levers.
The brake has like zero slop when pulled..must be careful!
The wheel spins fine so it's not dragging the pads so it's fine mechanically.

Very good upgrade....$39.99 vs $179.95.....
I think if I paid $27K to $32K for a Ducati I could justify the Pazzo levers but I have an FZ6R....nuff said!

If you look, you can see a camera mount on my fuel cap. I use a video camera that shoots through the windscreen. The Yamaha double bubble has a center part that blocks the video. Plus my windscreen works fine still and isn't scratched so it works fine for video...

Any other clear suggestions so I can still run the video from my mount?

Anodizing will fade in the sun. Red to pink, blue to baby blue, black to grey, gold to bronze.

The only one that won't really fade is silver I believe because it's the original color of the aluminum.

Which brings me to the case of deciding what color scheme to go with for a TYB FZ6R.

Blue shorty levers? Silver ones? Blue D3 Grips? Silver Ones?

At $40 /set, get two... then after a couple of years when they fade (it will take that long), just change them again....

Think I might get the black ones, just a little different then the stock silver ones. Plus, I'm not ashamed to use a sharpy to touch up:justkidding:

I'll never go back to the longer levers...fit form and function is so much better with the shorties. The clutch is even easier to pull now...I can't explain that one this early in the morning.

One word of caution on the brake lever......

The recess is shallower than the stock lever so the lever will be putting a small amount of pressure on the master cylinder the whole time.....

I did not notice this but the brake had no relief and the moment you touch it, the brake is hard on. I was driving down the freeway and the brakes got warm enough to almost completely lock up on me at 80 mph. I got the bike over to the side of the freeway real quick and did a rear tire wheelie before the bike stopped.
The front brake was locked up solid from the heated fluid.

You will need to pull out the link between the master cylinder and the lever and shorten it a tad. I used the concrete along the freeway as a file and it worked fine.
The front brake works fine now but my rotors have a purple color to them now
