Sorry about the insurance and oop (out of pocket) costs. Working the lsat 6 yrs in health insurance, contact the hospital and the dr group and see if the have any financial aid.. $25k is a lot of $. Here in MN, if it is a large bill the patient is responsible for, providers will refer patients to either their groups or others that can help lower the costs significantly. I have heard of bills dropping from $10k to 1.5k and so on.
