That was some funny shit Jay. I got tears in my eyes listening to that. :D They call it the "hammer lane " for a reason. Hammer down or get to the right.

wtf, thats stupid man, lady doing 2 under limit and busted.
cops aint got nothing better to do, effin laws are all jacked to hell.

too fast = ticket
too slow= ticket
sh!ts redonkulous !!!

i passed a state trooper once on road that was 45, i was going 50.
he pulled me over and gave me a ticket.

i was in fast lane once, trooper pulls up behind me, im going speed limit on dot, he pulls me over and said he can give me a ticket for going to slow, i tell him to efff off. no ticket assigned, we both drive on. :D

Its not stupid, its the law.

Maryland Keep Right - Slower Traffic Keep Right

Slower traffic keeps to the right.

The "fast" lane is really the passing lane, so if you are not passing someone going below the speed limit then you shouldn't really be in that lane.

Slower traffic keeps to the right.
never understood this sh!t.

Example :

speed limit 70, driver in left lane doing 70
if he goes over limit 6 mph, he can get ticket for speeding, correct ?

So, if there are 3 lanes of traffic, all lanes, all cars are going 70, you mean the guy in left lane has to squeeze into right lanes and leave lane open for someone that possibly wants to go above 70, 70+ is breaking the law, correct ?

if they would just enforce laws, all the time, every time, believe me, people would stop breaking them. The problem is : cops use their own judgement when the law is broken, so why have "LAWS" if they are not enforced.

I think they need to issue a ticket if your 1 mph over, period, or change the effin speed to a higher limit if its too slow.

I got nailed going 100mph in a 60 on turnpike. It was early morning, 4 lanes wide open, miles on road ahead of me, no danger whatsoever, only to myself possibly, so i decided to open up my G37, boom, went from 60-100 in few seconds for fun. BOOOM , got nailed by a trooper, said plane got me!!! ticket ended up costing me $700,between school, lawyer, and actual ticket.

So the moral of my story is : i got nailed speeding, went thru hell to clear it, and cost me $700. you wont find me doing 100 on turnpike ever again.

Either enforce the laws 100%
or dont enforce them at all.

Can you semi-stab somebody ?
same as can you go slightly over speed limit ?

shouldnt be a gray area when it comes to laws.
either change them, or enforce them.

I've seen ppl run red lights right in front of cops at a light, cop just drives on like nothing just happened.

The point of this particular violation was that the person was in the fast lane, going under the speed limit. When you are going under the speed limit you ARE impeding other traffic, which is ILLEGAL. The cop WAS doing his job. Plain and simple!

#1 problem is :

Traffic laws are soo laxed, and discretionary.

Some cops are hard up and underwear too tight , and will give you a ticket if you blink wrong.

Other cops will let you go after you've just committed some crazy sh!t.

I've got no problem with wanting slower traffic to keep left.
I would love more than anything in this world if ppl stayed left.
I love opening it up on the highway, and bookin it in left lane, who doesnt ?

but the point is, your not gonna stop everyone that does go the limit or 5mph under from staying out of it, but giving a ticket for going 2 mph is just dumb.
theres more to the story that someones not saying, she must have pissed off teh cop, slowed down on him or something else.

And that is their judgement call, just like you had a judgement call to go 100mph. You didn't have to, but you did and you paid the price. Officers have the same decision. It is their own right, as an officer, to say yay or nah.

*****EDIT****** ( not bashing cops), so dont take it in that context.

Most of the time, COPS dont do their jobs correctly.

I had a car when i was younger, just installed a supercharger on it, and literally took it out for a test spin. got onto a local road, 45mph limit, and LIT IT UP GOING 80mph or so. Cop pulled me over, and asked for usual stuff :

license : didnt have it
registration : didnt have it
insurance : didnt have it

cop goes " you dont have your proof of license, registration, insurance, and your going 80 mph in a 45 ?"

I say yes, and explain i just left house after spending all day installing supercharger.

so he lets me go, no tickets at all, just says " be careful, and slow it down"

I had no problem with that at all,cop was coolest dude ever met, BUT, he didnt do his job. He should have written me 4 tickets.

he was just lazy and probably going home.

not really,
they took an oath to uphold the law. If i was going 100 in a 60, and he let me go, i would still have my "get out of jail" card to play later on. basically saying that if i didnt get a ticket, i would probably do 100+ again. BUT, since he did do his job, and give me a ticket, it messed me up bad(my fault, i broke law), and it keeps me from speeding on turnpike anymore till this day.

imagine if he didnt give me a ticket, and next day i blow down turnpike at 110mph, and hit someone and ppl get hurt. then what ? it would be my fault , YES, but the cop from prior stop, that didnt give me a ticket, should be held responsible also, to a certain extent .

Make sure anytime you are EVER pulled over again, to ask... NO... DEMAND that you receive the ticket you so deserve. ;)
