Wooo Hoooo stock exhaust mod complete

Well here we go!

Tools Used:
-Band Saw
-Hole Saw
-Drimmel
-Welder

Parts:
-2.18in exhaust tip from Advanced Auto ($9)

After being inspired by the work here, I decided to take the leap.
In conclusion, the bike sounds like a well tuned WRX STI. Very low deep growl.
From about 2800-3400 RPM, there is a very annoying vibration in my helmet, though, I'm never in that RPM range much anyway.

EDIT: There popping sound only occurs if I quickly release the throttle. It sounds like an old two-stroke bike but it is not very noticeable. I like it.

anyone know of a good cheap muffler shop - they have gotten this done in Los Angeles area ??

well im gonna do the hole and weld but im gonna attach this to it, even without the welding the u tube vids ive seen sound nice, ill post tics of the process, sounds like ill be using the drilling holes and dremmed method
